POSH – Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace
At Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, staff, and faculty members. In accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, our institution has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to address issues related to sexual harassment in a timely, fair, and confidential manner.
Objectives:
- To prevent and prohibit sexual harassment on campus.
- To ensure a secure and supportive workplace and academic setting.
- To provide a platform for redressal of complaints through proper procedures.
POSH Committee Roles:
- Conduct awareness sessions and sensitization programs.
- Handle grievances and ensure impartial redressal.
- Maintain confidentiality and support the complainant.
We believe in zero tolerance towards any act of sexual harassment and encourage individuals to report any inappropriate behavior without fear.
