Aero Drive By Mechanical Students
Three mechanical engineering students of Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College, Ponmar, 9 km from Medavakkam, have designed a vehicle as part of their final-year project. RajPrakash, Subramania and Suresh designed this vehicle for optimising the fuel efficiency of IC engines. The main aim of this project is to maximizing fuel efficiency by reducing the losses during idling. By weigth reduction of vehicle and reducing losses during idling, they acheive a mileage of 150-200 kms per litre of fuel.
