Rules and Regulations
RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE CODE OF CONDUCT OF STUDENTS
Our college expects every student to uphold the discipline of the college both within and outside the college premises. Students should adhere to all the rules and regulations framed by the college from time to time.
RAGGING
We have banned ragging and eve teasing in our institution
ATTENDANCE
- Regular attendance in classes, library and physical education hours is expected from all students. Every student must attend college regularly and punctually on all working days. Students who have not enough attendance will not be permitted to appear for the university examination.
- Any student who wishes to take leave must submit leave letter duly signed by the parent or guardian. In case the leave is due to unforeseen circumstances the leave letter should be submitted immediately after returning to the college. If the leave exceeds more than a day without valid reason or prior intimation or proper leave letter signed by the parent , severe disciplinary action will be taken against the student. If the student is genuinely ill, a medical certificate / prescription should be produced.
- No student is permitted to stay away from class after coming to the collge. Students obstaining from classes without prior permission will be dealt severely with. The students are not to be permitted to leave the college premises under any circumstances during the working hours of the college without an outpass signed by the principal.
- Attendance is compulsory for the students on national days such as Independence day , Republic day, Sports day, College day,etc
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Physical education is compulsory for all the students. Students are expected to participate in all sports activities organized by the physical education director of the college.
LIBRARY REGULATIONS
Books related to various disciplines as well as those of general interest are available for reference and will be issued to the students. The books should be returned on or before the due date.
TESTS AND EXAMINATIONS
All the students are expected to take their class tests, monthly tests and revision examinations without any omissions.
GENERAL DISCIPLINE

Students requests should be made individually and through proper channel. If any student is guilty of an act of indiscipline or attempts to organize or join a strike, he/she will be immediately dismissed from the college. This college is apart from politics and no cliques or parties will be allowed to function in the college.
- Students are forbidden to organize any meeting in the college or to collect money for any purpose without the permission of the Principal. Students should not address public meetings and should not takepart in any intercollegiate competition, TV or radio programmes without the permission of the Principal.

Students should show due respect to the faculty members. They should be highly dignified in their conduct and behaviour. Students are advised to keep in touch with their tutors and faculty members and seek their guidance whenever needed.
- Each student must produce on-demand identity card provided by the college. Any misbehaviour by the student will lead to the confiscation of their identity card and the name of the student will be struck off from the roll.
- Cell phones and electronic devices are not allowed inside the campus.
DRESS CODE FOR MEN
- Shirt and Pants with Black/Brown shoes and plain black or brown Belt.
- Bermudas,T-Shirts,Shorts,Jeans and Lungies are not allowed.
- Hair Style: Normal Cropped hair; No beard.
DRESS CODE FOR WOMEN
- Salwar Kameez.
- Bermudas,Shorts,Jeans , Blouses and sarees are not allowed.
- Short Kurthas and Leggins are not allowed.
THE ROLE OF PARENTS
- Parents are requested not to absolve themselves of their responsibilities once their wards are admitted into the college.
- They must ensure that their wards attend classes regularly and take tests and examinations regularly.
- Parents are requested not to abstain themselves from afternoon sessions of the college for any reason .
- Academic Progress Reports will be periodically sent to the parents. They are expected to persue the report before signing. They are also expected to take care of their wards and see that their ward's academic performance is good.
- Students who are weak in studies will be given extra attention and care in the college by their staff concerned. Parents must keep in touch with the faculty members in this regard and may contact the Principal on any matter concerning their wards on all working days.
- Parents will be called once in a semester to meet the Chairman to discuss the academic progress of their wards.
- Parents must keep in touch with the Principal regarding the progrss of their wards in studies and general conduct and behaviour.
WORKING HOURS
The college works from Monday to Saturday(except second Saturday). College timings are from 9.00 a.m to 3.45 p.m with interval and lunch break.
